Re: what is DNR of audio input?

Are you talking about the audio bandwidth availability? (i.e. 20 Hz to 24 KHz)

Broadcast Engineering Community Aknowledgement

Hey Everyone, I thought everyone should know that Radio World Magazine has plugged the Audio Injector Octo Sound Card for the Raspberry Pi alternative to an expensive automation player for radio stations. The article was written by a Sound Engineer at Radio America Network in Arlington, VA. Here is ...

Playback options with SoX and Dmix Plugin

Hey Everyone,

Anyone know how to route audio through the dmix plugin with SoX?

I am using a flac encode, and would prefer not converting the file to (.wav).

Re: Programmable control? Volume, sample rate, etc.

Hey Jhenox,

I am not certain about the sample rate, but if you are wanting to record audio and convert to a different sample rate, then you could use SoX to convert the sample rate, and change the volume level.

By the way, you should be able to use the alsamixer to adjust the volume.

Best Headphones

Hey Everyone,

What is the ideal headphone resistances?

I have several sets of headphones ranging from 32 ohms, all the way to 550 ohms. I am getting a vast difference in audio quality.

What is the preferred output resistances range on the headphone jack.

Re: Some issues with non functioning pins.

Hey Everyone, I have found the same thing over here. I am building a dual mono audio recorder with GPIO dry contact closures. The idea is when I bring an input to high, the audio injector would play out audio and record in the Left or right depending on what input was brought to high. I got the inpu...

Re: What should our next kickstarter be ?

As I am thinking about all of this. The 8-channel Audio Injector up to 192 KHz sampling would be nice. Curious, what would be your plans on the audio response bandwidth? Not sure ! What do you suggest ? I would suggest to try and get as close as possible to 96 KHz. The reason for this is for sensit...

Split Audio Channels

Hey Everyone,

Is it possible to split the Left and Right into separate mono channels.

I.e. Play Audio (A) at Time (x) on Channel (L) and then Play Audio (B) at Time(y) on Channel (R) while Audio (A) is running...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
