version 4.9.14_v7+

So I'm running version 4.9.14_v7+ on a Raspberry Pi 3 with the stereo card, and I'm having a problem getting Chromium to connect to the web. Does anyone know anything about this problem?

I2S

I am familiar with I2S from my days doing digital audio using Motorola and Analog Devices DSP ICs. I want to know how to dig into the drivers used with the Stereo Audio Card and the RPI to find out how they work at the lowest level. I'm interested in doing this so I can interface the audio coming to...

Command line commands for Stereo Soundcard

Are there any command line commands or other commands that can be put in a .sh file for the Stereo Sound card like the two "restore" commands that set either the microphone or the RCA inputs given in the setup posting? The Wolfson audio card had all kinds of these, although they were not well docume...

Re: Cannot get RCA microphone to work

I'm reasonably sure the RCA inputs to this audio board are line level, which means microphones won't work with them directly. I use a modified Velleman MK136 board with the microphones supplied with it removed, the inputs modified to remove the activating voltage for the supplied electret mics. Any ...

Re: using arecord on new stereo sound card

I couldn't get arecord -dplug:dmix -r 8000 -c 2 /tmp/test.wav to work with my version of firmware. Rolling back to version 4.9.14 : ( sudo rpi-update b30461d2621e71eb9b8845b38738af177b9181ed) does allow use of 8000 Hz sample rat However, trying to record at 16000 Hz with arecord -Dhw:0,0 doesn't wor...

using arecord on new stereo sound card

I was trying to use "arecord" at an 8 Khz rate (it wouldn't do 16Khz) and got an error that the hardware parameters couldn't be set up in alsa. My Debian Raspberry PI OS version is 4.9.53_v7+, which is what came out of using audioInjector-test.sh What version of the OS are others using that work? Th...

My Debian Raspberry PI OS version is 4.9.53_v7+.

The audioInjector-setup.sh seems to work.
