Re: Huge Requirements for a Soundcard?

Hi there, I think the octo would suit your project. It has 4 channels out and 6 channels in. You could use a mic preamp to bring the mic. to line levels.

For support go to gituhub

We think it would be fresh to try using github as our support forum. For this reason we have set up the organisation here : Stereo and Zero : https://github.com/Audio-Injector/stereo-and-zero/issues Octo : https://github.com/Audio-Injector/Octo/issues Ultra : https://github.com/Audio-Injector/Ultra/...

Re: Generate infinite empty file

Hi there,

Can you try with -c 8 ?
Also try to record something using audacity with 8 channels ... does anything happen for you ?
Is the input RCA block plugged into the input RCA pcb header ?

thanks

Re: Testing Octo

I've installed the sound card, and I've installed Pure Data. But I can't get ANY SOUND to come out, either with Pure Data's Test Module or just trying to play an audio file. Here are the results from testing: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ dmesg | grep audio [ 7.376841] audioinjector-octo soc:sound: cs42448 <-...

Hi there, Here is the dts reference : https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/blob/rpi-4.9.y/arch/arm/boot/dts/overlays/audioinjector-addons-overlay.dts Which says : mult-gpios = <&gpio 27 0>, <&gpio 22 0>, <&gpio 23 0>, <&gpio 24 0>; reset-gpios = <&gpio 5 0>; THis post you reference : http://forum.au...
