Hello all,
while reading the specs of the new Audio Injector Ultra 2 sound card, I noticed the feature "to mute line driven outputs for silence". I also discovered that there is a mute pin from the base sound card going to the preamp. I am wondering what exactly this feature about muting line driven outputs is about? Does that mean that there is a muting circuit for the audio output somewhere on the preamp board? And how does this muting circuit work?
And in what way is this muting capability something special for the Audio Injector sound card? Are there other sound cards on the market that do not have such muting circuits?
Thanks you very much in advance for your answer!
Kind regards,
Christian

Re: Muting circuit of the Audio Injector sound card
I know this is a very old post, but I would also like to know how the muting circuit works, as it would be very useful.
Many thanks.
