Hi
Matt

Code: Select all

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ iwconfig wlan0 | grep -i --colour quality
          Link Quality=50/70 Signal level=-60 dBm
[code]
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:"D-Link DSL-2880AL"
          Mode:Managed Frequency:2.452 GHz Access Point: D8:FE:E3:E3:2A:50
          Bit Rate=28.8 Mb/s Tx-Power=31 dBm
          Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality=48/70 Signal level=-62 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:43 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

Power management was on. Turning it off didn't achieve better results. In the iwconfig wlan0 i have Mode:Managed, yours is Mode:Master. Have tried on 2 raspberry pi 3 same results even if i arecord dd.wav it will disconnect from wireless, the rcording will still be going, have to reset pi to stop it, aplay or mp3, ogg, ect.. will usually reconnect me after about 30 seconds, of finishing song.

OK, I am pretty stumped as to what the problem is with your system. I am sorry at this point that I am out of ideas.

Wifi Dropping Out

Post by Iren G.Cem » Wed May 24, 2017 7:18 am

Help

Have just got a AR. Drone V1 and my tablet wont see the drones wifi. My laptop seems to see it fine. I have an Acer Iconia A1-830 android tablet. Is there a fix or tweak that will enable the tablet to pick up the wifi?

Any help or advice gratefully received.

Sorry, not to familiar with this table/android combination. If you don't get a response here, you could try the raspberry pi forum perhaps ?

i have a simular experience of loosing wifi connectivity

ive got three pi's set up identically (same audioinjector sound car, same power source, same sd cards, same arduino attached), and Im experiencing wifi drop out from two of them, when i use the sound card.
i have cloned the card from the one with working wifi, to run the other two, but i still experience the same problem.

the problem happens when i launch the program puredata, and turn on audio processing. The sound card works, and so does the program in pure data, and i can still access the pi through a moniter, but the wireless connection is gone...

any ideas?

cheers.

Same issue.
- Rpi3
- completely clean: raspbian-stretch-lite (2017-09-07, kernel=4.9.53-v7+)
- basic setup (ssh + regional settings: DK)
- setup wifi ( /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf)
- setup audioinjector eigther via auto or manual setup, same problem.

When playing an example (aplay anyfile.wav) wifi ping speed will drop from 10-20ms to several seconds, or totally drop out. When aplay finishes or is terminated, wifi comes back to normal.

dhcp or static ip: same problem
Using newest jessie-lite: same problem.
Using ethernet: no problem
Not power supply issue (2.5A, tested several)
Not wifi sleep problem.
Using onboard analog: no problem.
Using cheep I2S (http://www.ebay.com/itm/142217656113) "dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac": no problem.
The problem also start if squeezelite is set up with the audioinjector card, NOT PLAYING.
Have tried 1000 combinations without any luck.

Does anyone have an audio injector Zero handy ?
I would be interested to hear if this problem is there as well.

I can't replicate the problem myself.

thanks
