Audio Input Not Working

Hi,

I am a very novice Linux user working on a wildlife recorder build using the Pi and the Audioinjector soundcard. I have followed all of the suggestions here for setup and successfully installed the card, but cannot get the audio input working. I also notice that when I play audio out through Firefox it is super quiet, but using VLC it's perfectly fine. Any ideas? I have followed the directions re: changing settings in alsamixer.

Hi there,

Are you using the two channel or 8 channel audio injector sound card ?

I am using the 2 channel card. I have since reflashed with Raspbian ( I was using Ubuntu) and now the input is working correctly.

OK - I have just moved this post into the correct sound card forum.

Can you please confirm that your alsamixer settings are the same as in this image from this topic :

Sound in on the X1000 is recording only, not for live playback at this time.

You can select the CD input from hte input selector in prefs, or from a correctly configured audio program.

Yes the alsamixer settings are the same.
