Pi Musicbox with audioinjector

Post by sly_fox » Thu Jul 06, 2017 4:26 am

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience using http://www.pimusicbox.com/ with an audioinjector. If so, how did you get it set up?

Specifically I was hoping to be able to set up a passthrough from the input to the output, as well as use the output as the output for Pi Musicbox. either way, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm new to the Raspberry Pi!

Thanks,
sly_fox

Hi there,

Firstly I asked for info on their forum regarding setup :
https://discuss.mopidy.com/t/alsa-and-t ... tor/1738/1

Regarding pass through, you should be able to enable the bypass like so :
In the mixer, there is a selection for "Line Bypass" you should be able to select that and it will bypass (in analogue with no latency) from input to output.
To select is run alsamixer from the command line.

I was obliged to use an external sound card.... and I really want to use the audio injector.

Thanks in advance.
