What should our next kickstarter be ?

I forgot, i saw adat in/out and adat interface mentioned by others, i'll 2nd (or 3rd?) that.

Lots of people have multichannel preamps that output adat. Normally i take audio via xlr to one of the input channels and output to a recording device that takes audio via adat/lightpipe. I use three of them, our recorder has three adat ins (so 24 channel recording).

One option for me is to use one of these multichannel preamps when i only need 8 channels and not drag all of the equipment out. But devices that will take adat as input and output on a cable that a computer can use are really expensive! So, having something on the Rpi that can take adat as input and either record the channels, or output the data on something a laptop can use (firewire?) would be invaluable to anyone who has these multichannel preamps. There ARE no inexpensive devices that do any of that..

Maybe a soundcard for a car stereo project ? it would be nice to have a multipurpose pi3 on the car with good sound quality

Balanced I/O for the Stereo Soundcard. Could use plugs on the board and a choice of XLR or 1/4" dongles.

Board to take input from speaker wires (TV for example) and output switched between wired speakers and Bluetooth headset/speakers controlled by a TV remote set to an unused button.

Someone else suggested it, and I second it, a card with Stereo Balanced XLR or 1/4" TRS jack inputs as well as outputs would have many applications.

Maybe also a soundcard with AES audio in and out.

Its all about sucks lol those kickstarter can manage these easily
