Driver for Windows IOT on Pi 3

Post by chiefley » Fri Dec 22, 2017 12:46 am

Is there a driver for the stereo soundcard for Windows IOT on the PI 3? If not, how can I get info about the soundcard hardware to write my own?

I found the Taylor-Rooda Linux drivers. I think I can take it from there. I may not write a driver, but rather just set it up in my startup code. The application is DSP for a Software Defined Radio project. So I don't need any kind of standard audio drivers.

If I have any questions I will study the forum here and also the RPi "Sticky Forum" on I2S.

Have a happy New Year all.

Have you had any luck with the sound card working with Windows 10 IoT? As a C# developer it would be much easier for me to write code to use this sound card.

thanks!
