Newbie question

I want to write an application using the audio injector, to sample a microphone and send it over the network and play out a set of speakers on another injector. I have a couple of questions:
1. Does the injector board support ALSA APIs to capture sound in real-time?
2. Does the injector board support ALSA APIs to playback sound that was received over the network?

Don't know about Network ALSA API, but I guess it should be possible.
