GPIO Pins Used By AudioInjector

Post by epalaima » Tue Feb 14, 2017 5:39 pm

What GPIO pins does the audio injector use in interfacing with the codec? I could have sworn I saw this information posted at some point but cannot seem to find it now.

I was trying to use GNU Screen to connect to the Pi from my laptop and it was not working. I use this all the time on other Pi's and it works great so I am thinking the problem might be that the AudioInjector uses the txd and rxd pins, meaning that I can no longer use them for serial communication.

Please let me know.

Thanks!

You can find that information available here :

I don't think it uses the serial pins.

thanks

I think it does. According to the diagram you posted TXD0 and RXDO are being used for the BITCLOCK. Unless I am reading something incorrectly?

I think the UART pins are free, bitclock is on GPIO18.
