Hi,
Using the command `arecord -l' I can see the device:
**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: audioinjectorpi [audioinjector-pi-soundcard], device 0: AudioInjector audio wm8731-hifi-0 []
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
However, if I try to record using 'arecord -d 5 -f cd test.wav' I get this output:
Recording WAVE 'test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo
But playing back using 'aplay test.wav' just plays silence.
I know playback is working fine using a test wav file. I have made sure the polarity is correct on electret mic. Is there a setup I may have missed to enable the mic?
Many thanks

Re: Problem with mic
If you run alsamixer (from a command line)
and f6 to select the sound card
is your input mux set to MIC or LINE in?
just a thought...

Thanks for the reply.
Im not sure why but running the audioInjector-setup.sh fixed it for me, which has probably set this for me.
