Noise dropping out

Post by sirduke » Thu Jun 22, 2017 6:31 am

Flatmax, I appreciate the effort you put into supporting your product.
It is likely I'll purchase a significant quantity of these units if I can iron out some of the bugs.

The issue I'm now having is that the noise floor seems to vary significantly.I'm getting unpredictable pops that I don't normally get when recording with my other ALSA USB soundcards. The amplitude of the noise, while quite high for a 24-bit sound card is acceptable as long as it is consistent for my application.

I'm not sure what is causing these gaps. I'm not an audio expert by any means-- how do I narrow down what this could be?

Thanks,

Can you drop your rate to 48kHz and do a similar measurement ?
I am not sure either.

thanks
Matt
