csound

Hello!
I am trying to run csound. I manage to get sound out of any channel with an oscilator opcode but i fail to get realtime audio input through to outputs with csound and alsa. The code runs, but there is no sound. I wanted it for processing.
I installed the octo card mannually on pi3 following instructions on this forum. Aplay and arecord works. Perhaps somebody has an advice or experience with this?

Did some more tinkering. Csound does receive sound input too. It fails only if i try running audio input and output simultaneously. i tried different buffer settings, from large to small. Perhaps there is something else needed to run in full duplex mode?

I wish I could help you with csound, but unfortunately I am not an expert ... is it possible to hit the csound mailing list with this question ?
The Audio Injector Octo sound card presents as a standard ALSA audio device.
