Any luck with Java?

I've got a test program I wrote in Java that produces audio... works fine on other systems, just hear a click when I start it on the Raspberry Pi with the Octo plugged in. Anyone else figure out how to get this card to work with Java? (The card does play sound when I run speaker-test)

When you use java, which audio device does it open ?

Do you hear any sound ? any errors reported ?
