Hole spacing for balanced boards?

Post by Sorter52 » Tue Nov 07, 2017 11:37 am

Hello,

I just received a balanced octo sound card.

I want to mount the boards with 1/4" jacks on to a piece of aluminum stock.

What is the spacing for holes? What diameter holes are needed?

Thanks

That is a good question, I am not sure off the top of my head.

IF you download the Kicad software and clone this repo :

Code: Select all

git clone https://flatmax@github.com/flatmax/AudioInjector.Octo.balanced.git
You can open the project in kicad. You can then measure the distance between connectors precisely. All you have to do is over your mouse over the point you want to start measuring from and then press space, which will zero the dx and dy units in the bottom right of the application. Move the mouse and you can see the distance measures change.
