When will the Octo be in the shops?

Can I request an update on when the Octo is likely to be back in the shops. It appears well suited for what I require for my project but I need to make a decision whether to purchase something less appropriate that is available now or wait. I appreciate an exact date may not be possible but you can let us know if it has been abandoned? Something unexpected has occurred and it won't be available until next year? It is being shipped and will be in the shops tomorrow?

I'd also like to know when the Octo is in the shop again. There are several people waiting for it to be available again. And we have no up to date information how long we have to wait Pity.
I would suggest to make the existing cards available before planning new projects.
