Hey Folks,
does anyone have a possibility to test the octo with a banana pi (m3) ?
I'm curious if it would work. Coupling the octo with more processing power would offer a larger variety of applications..
any ideas?
thanks
Kenneth

Re: Octo on Banana Pi
I am keen to look into that.
Can you please point me to the GPIO header information for the Banana Pi ?
Can you please also point me to the Linux kernel source used for the Banana Pi ?
thanks
Matt

Re: Octo on Banana Pi
Thanks for your reply!
i have found a GPIO header mapping:
and here
is this helpful?
as for the sources, for the BPI M3 i found this:
https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/BPI-M3-bsp
Thanks again !

Re: Octo on Banana Pi
OK - unfortunately the headers for I2S don't match !
You can solve that by mapping I2S pins appropriately on a PCB, which I could help you do.
Can you find a KiCad Banana Pi GPIO project ? If not I would have to start from scratch
For comparison, here are the GPIO pins for the Pi : viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4
Next step w.r.t. software ...
If this is the BP ALSA driver :
https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/BPI-M3- ... /soc/sunxi
Then it is possible we can make this work ... hmmm ...
What we really need are machine driver examples for the Banana Pi ... is there a Banana pi email list or somewhere you can ask where the BP ALSA machine drivers are ?
thanks
