AudioInjector on Up board

When I plug the Hifiberry DAC+ on a Cherrytrail-based Up board (same pinout on the extension connector as RPi model B), I can see the I2C address, no issue

Is there any special trick I would need to do before reading i2c registers?

Never seen i2cdetect before ... hmmm. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish ?

Did you ever get this working? How does Raspi know to connect the driver to the i2c port if the chip can't be detected?

The connection are direct lines ... is it possible to test if the static voltage on the lines is 3.3V ?
