Does anyone know whether the Audio Injector Ultrasound card for the Raspberry Pi Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... n=89ac6d37 will ever go live?
Looks like I fried my Cirrus Logic Audio Card and I need to be able to record at 192kHz.

Yes - it will go live. I just received the latest batch of chips and parts to build the latest prototype !
I am currently designing the input and output line drivers/receivers. Once these are good and stable, I will launch !
Stay tuned.

Re: Audio Injector Ultrasound
Hey,
I understand here is where we give input about the audio injector ultra.
I am from the Zynthian project, and also been playing about with an audio injector stereo and an electric violin for a while.
1. Not sure if it can be done. But instrument input with high Z impedance would really help out. At the moment only the PiSound has this. And I really don't want to spend that much on a single card without testing it.
2. I really suggest having the pi headers pre-soldered like in the stereo audioinjector - its what most of your users are going to do, and its going to have a high fail-rate if users need to solder them on their own.
3. I am not sure how to measure this, but the overall audio response quality is just not that good, I am not sure how to improve it, but it should be addressed in the next card. I am pretty sure the clock speed is not the factor, it might be the properties of the DAC chip.

Re: Audio Injector Ultrasound
Hi guys, very nice boards you do!
I have just pledged for one of them but I will probably ask more!
I am enjoying a lot Zynthian and I will try Audio Injector with it. I would love to have an instrument (Hi Z) input for my guitar.
All the best!
