Simultaneous Recording and Playback with 4 in and 4 out

Hey guys,

did someone manage to achieve a configuration like this?
im trying to run xwax(not PiDeck!) with the octo, it is recognised and i copied the /etc/asound.conf and .asoundrc from the setup thread.

i believe there is some more .asoundrc tweaking to be done, as i cannot use hw:0,0 for input (xwax tells me it does not support stereo)

i found one config in this thread, but it only deals with the outputs.
does anyone have a working .asoundrc for simultaneous recording and playback with the octo?

You might want to consider running JACK, it makes sure the playback and recording side is always synchronous. Haven't used xwax myself, but it claims to support JACK.
